I remember back in 2003 (I think) when my homegirl Julie made me listen to Kanye's College Dropout. Through the Wire was on the radio but the album hadn't become huge yet (that was after Jesus Walks). I flipped as we listened to the whole album. A few months later I bought two tickets to his show at House of Blues in San Diego and couldn't convince one person to go with me.
