Yelawolf is one of those strange hip hop artists who straddles the line between the mainstream and the underground - which is why he is a good addition to the Shady Records lineup next to Slaughterhouse. This album has some gems hidden within the lyrics but you have to get past some of the weak hooks on songs like "Throw it Up."
