However, on Gold Rush II, his still very dope lyrics, may have been surpassed by the creative flipping of popular indie rock bands like Fun,

and mainstream powerhouse Maroon 5. 


Although the sampling of popular indie songs has become a bit ordinary, the combination of STS's lyrical precision and the intense sampling proves to be anything but ordinary.
